The newest manifestation in an ongoing series of happenings, A/V lectures, recorded artefacts, and digital media, ORPH_002 is the work of electronic music producer and sound artist Inland aka Ed Davenport, in collaboration with curator Nadim Samman.

From the perspective of On High – a satellite’s all-seeing-eye – we begin far above the earth, descending through overflowing data, satellites, decommissioned aircraft, and a noxious soup of digital media mutations. Rooted in the classical tale of Orpheus, the mythic musician and prophet, ORPH_002 reimagines the traveler’s journey – as descent into a techno-cave.
