Meme Protocols

Bea Kittelmann
During the project, Open Secret is being accompanied by an interdisciplinary board consisting of artists, art educators, and an attorney.

Board meetings generally take place in private and thus prevent the possibility of lively discussion with other project participants and the public. For Open Secret, key issues and questions from two of the three board meetings will be published in “Meme Protocols” on the project website. The conversations were visualized in the format of memes by the artist and illustrator Bea Kittelmann and seek to inspire users to think critically about aspects of inclusion, usability, and accessibility.

The board members are: Maithu Bìu (philosopher, research activist, artist), Ramak Molavi Vasse’i (attorney for digital rights and policy advisor), Konstanze Schütze (research in art pedagogy, curator of dgtl fmnsm) and Dirk Sorge (artist and curator/art educator, founder of Berlinklusion).
