Kateřina Krtilová, PhD, is a researcher at the Zurich University of the Arts, focusing on aesthetics and media theory. She also coordinates the PhD program “Epistemologies of Aesthetics Practices” (ZHdK, University of Zurich and ETH). She received her PhD in 2017 from Bauhaus-University, Weimar, with a dissertation on Vilém Flusser’s media philosophy and initiated and coordinated several international projects in media philosophy, among others the DFG funded research project ‘Positions and Perspectives of German and Czech Media Philosophy’.
